I'm a working mom of two daughters in the Barrow County school system, and like so many families in our district, I know firsthand the challenges we're facing.
The status quo no longer works for the majority of hard-working families in our area. The cost of living continues to rise at untenable rates, healthcare and housing have become increasingly unaffordable, and our schools remain underfunded and unsafe. No parent should have to worry about whether their children have enough to eat or will be safe at school on any given day.
I am not a politician at heart, but a passionate and capable problem solver. I've spent over 20 years in public service and non-profit work, dedicated to lifting families out of poverty through practical and sustainable solutions.
I currently serve as the Director of Planning, Reporting and Analytics at an international non-profit, where I lead strategies to help our organization thrive and expand our impact—even in the face of today's challenging funding environment.
This work has taught me how to navigate complex systems, build coalitions, and deliver results, all while maximizing limited resources—exactly the skills we need in the State House.
Practical solutions for the real challenges facing Georgia families.
Right now, too many families and individuals are working harder than ever but falling further behind as wages remain stagnant and costs continue to rise at unsustainable rates. Meanwhile, economic wealth is becoming increasingly concentrated at the top.
That's not the American Dream we deserve. We deserve more, including:
Together, let's reshape our economy so that it works for all of us—not just the wealthy few. Not just the lucky few. Let me help you make your own luck by fighting for common-sense policies that keep the playing field fair. Because each of us matter. Because YOU matter.
Being a parent today is harder than ever. Between rising costs, constant digital distractions, and growing concerns about safety, education, and mental health, we are being asked to do more with less—less time, less support, and less money.
In our overwhelm-induced absence, others with more time, money and support are making decisions that affect us and our children on our behalf without consulting us. That's why it's more important than ever for parents to have a real voice—and a real partner—in shaping the future of our community.
Families deserve more. You deserve:
When you invest in parents, you're investing in both the foundation and the future of our community. A supported parent becomes a supportive parent who goes on to raise healthy, well-adjusted children, who themselves go on to become wonderful neighbors and productive members of our community. Because each family matters. Because YOU matter.
Healthcare is a human right—not a privilege. Yet more than 13% of Barrow County residents and 12% of Jackson County residents lack health insurance—rates higher than both the state and national averages. This means that more than 1 in 10 of our neighbors are without basic health protections and face financial devastation in the case of a health emergency.
Every member of our community deserves access to affordable, high-quality preventative and emergency care, regardless of insurance, employment, or income status. You deserve:
None of us should have to skip doctor visits or ration life-saving medications because of affordability. No Georgian should live one health emergency away from poverty—especially not in a country with one of the world's most advanced healthcare systems.
Together, let's fight for our right to quality healthcare, starting with expanded Medicaid in Georgia. This single action would:
Your health and well-being make up the backbone of our community, so our community should have your back. Because YOU matter.
Grassroots campaigns are powered by people like you. Your contribution—of any size—helps us reach more voters and build the movement our district needs.
